Default Cayuga / TMP - Event?

Is anyone planning a Cayuga / TMP event this year? I thought I've seen OZC plan lapping events before for this track in previous years.

    Anyone interested?

I've compiled a brief summary of the rules and guidelines and schedule for TMP this year.

It's been quite a long time since OZC organized a lapping day at TMP. Actually we haven't attempted another one since the last uneventful one, at the now closed, Dunville Autodrome. It nearly bankrupted the club.

There are so many clubs sponsoring lapping days now and with trying to fill in their spots that there has been no real push from the members to organize one on our own. We have participated in the past with OMSC at the Mosport DDT and TIZCC at Shannonville.

I have not done any lapping at TMP so I cannot comment on what the track is like or how much interest there could be. Unless we have a bunch of people respond positively to this thread, it could be awhile.

Why would the club have to sponsor it? I guess I was wondering if an event was planned for a group of people in the club to go. Similar to the up north cruise, or the niagara cruise. Everyone pays their own regular price ticket. The club doesn't need to rent the track or anything.

Lapping for a whole day at tmp is 130. Maybe I'll post the day that I registered and see of there's any interest

On Friday evenings you can get track time for $60.00 if you preregister.
I went last year and it was great fun.
    Check out their website.
The track is decent if you don,t mind a 600 horse Viper blasting past you! You could hook up with some club member's and meet for a bite in Cayuga afterward.

I'm always interested in a lapping day. There are lots available through other clubs and also organizations - i.e. touge.ca, digtrackdays.com etc. Lets see if wee can agree on a date. I'd like to chase some Z-cars with my SX.
