I am interested in the OEM windshield.

    Is there any delamination?

Where are you in the gta?

    Thanks,

    Don

    Hey John,
Do you have the dash harness? I am working on making a manual that shows what each wire does and what colours of wires go where. Wiring diagrams are no help, because I find the wires go in one side of the connector different colours than they come out the other. I've even found them changing colours within the harness. Here's an example from my 1972, which is pretty unmolested as I've owned it from new.
The connector at the steering column which carries circuits for the wipers, washer and park/tail lights.
Switch side of socket---------------Harness side of socket ------------ Function
black (HVY GA)------------------------ black (HVY GA)---------------------------Separate from socket, ground.
    red/blue---------------------------------blue--------------------------------- wiper high speed
    yellow/black---------------------------- blue/yellow ---------------------------- wiper low speed
    blue/red---------------------------- ----blue/red---------------------------------- washer
    green/white ---------------------------- green/blue---------------------------- park/tail lights
    green/blue ---------------------------- green/white---------------------------- park/tail lights
    yellow/green ---------------------------- blue/white ---------------------------- wiper low and high speeds
    blue/white ---------------------------- black/yellow ---------------------------- separate from socket, washer

I managed to trace the wiper circuit to the end of the harness where it joins to the body harness without taking the dash harness apart, but everything else just disappears. If I had a decent harness I would un-tape it all so I could follow the wires, take photos and write an article describing what everything does.

    Hey Eric,

I have a dash out with a harness in it if I can do anything for you send me a PM. It's the one im using so I probably won't take it apart but I'd trace any wires you want. If you one of these cheat sheets for the engine bay harness I could use it this weekend!

(sorry to hijack this thread with this).

Eric, I will also have my March of 1970 Z harness out this winter, it has been modified in the engine bay but thankfully the car came with everything that was cut off. I will be removing all tape to make sure everything is in good shape. Might also add 4-5 unspecific coloured wires to the harness for future uses if needed.

Sorry for the delay in reply all, I've been busy with our Hot Import DayZ event and am now just catching my breath.

The seats and windshield are sold, sorry.

Eric, I have several unmolested 240Z dash harnesses. Let me know what year you are looking for and you may certainly borrow it.
