We just confirmed details at the Eastern Chapter meeting tonight. OZC is picking up the cost of $5 per head for all those that have renewed their membership for 2010 who come out to the go-karting event.
That's another good reason to renew your membership. You can do it at the event. Just look for one of the Excom to sign up.

well that was some BS drove about 1 hour from cambridge and they said they had it rented till 9pm i wasn't waiting around for 2+ hours
Hey Mike, sorry about that. We arrived to find out that a private party had booked the track until 9:30 when it was supposed to be open to the general public. We are all pissed and disappointed. Several of us called GPK late last week to pre-purchase the unlimited track pack and no one told any of us about the private booking when we mentioned our group coming tonight.
I feel bad that you drove all that way for nothing. Most of us left around 7:30 so you must have arrived after. The event has been re-scheduled for Monday Feb. 22. Hey rockdog i got there at about ten to 7pm stayed for a little bit then just left. i saw a couple groups of people most looked like the company that was there though so i didn't bother talking to any one. there was one guy there with a Z on his hat and nismo on the side dunno who that was from here but they were on the phone talking to someone in spanish or something so i just left with my buddy to go get some food. next time we head up i will call first cause that was a major piss off
Hey Mike, the guy with the Z hat talking spanish was Enrique, he is with our group. We were the guys hanging out at the entrance. Sorry we didn't get to meet but we'll try to do it again on Monday Feb. 22. We were all pissed off by the circumstances... unfortunately, you probably drove the furthest.
OIC I figured as much but was really unsure me and my buddy where thinking that the groups are just employees from that company, so we just took off for a bite to eat. I will come out next monday again for sure though I think my buddy will come still also.
^The rescheduled date is not this coming Monday but the following - Feb. 22.

Hello everyone I've just spoken with GPK 416 636-5278 and there have been NO group private bookings of any sort for Monday Evening. Things are looking good for us to maximise potential kart track time if we show up after 6pm.
I was advised to call back Monday Morning to confirm there has been no last minute group bookings for that evening.
I urge everyone to call or atleast reply all to this e-mail if there is any booking changes that occur as we don't want a repeat of what happened last time. Remember this is still an arrive and drive event and we donot have the place booked to ourselves. We will be racing unlimited into the night with the general public. This is why we must call to ensure the place will be open to us from 6-midnight.
