uuuuh - I might be interested in the master brake cylinder - I hear it's larger than the 240z one? and do you have the CV shafts?
the explosion in Kitchener/Waterloo is enticing, although the suburban sprawl has me turned off. I like old houses, and old waterfront. I loved Kingston when I was there. RIM or other software...
yeah, I think I'm going to purchase a full armoured body suit for everyday life. I am not risking this experience again.

Well, I thought I was getting to the full-recovery state. However over the weekend it became visually apparent that I had something still lodged in my cornea. This morning I woke up, and my left eye...
Is the new owner planning on building it up? Or using it for parts? I'm still interested in getting the stub axles.

THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
WEAR FULL EYE PROTECTION WHEN DOING ANYTHING, EVER.

On Sunday I stood in the empty engine bay of the Datsun, grinder in my hand, and just...

I work for an electric vehicle company, and you don't know how many mechanics that I work with across north america who don't understand this.
This is the quickest and proper way to check the...

oh yeah - that orange 240z looks pretty mental as well. SR20DET eh? eventually I'll want to get a set of wheels and flares like his - any word on where to get the wheels for less than an arm and a...
This one? (from last year's meet)

I've never met him - I did like his RB26DETT install though. oh sorry, no flares.
That is an excellent tip Chris, but I've got the car and engine on hoists. The engine and transmission naturally tilt because the transmission is unsupported to ensure it slides into the tunnel....
I'll do all that I can to be there with Yoshida.
Sorry I didn't make it out the meet yesterday; I don't think I could have shown my face without my z-car. but I got lots done yesterday:
A friend of mine offered his shop, once again, for the...
I know right? I host numerous forums (I personally like phpbb), and I had to upgrade the forum the other day because of those pesky bots from Russia. good luck with everything.
this looks like fun. more pictures! what are your future plans?
Ha ha - I'm tucked away in the corner, such that only one tenant knows that I'm working on the car (they park directly beside me). All the tools go with me, but the parts and engine hoist all sit...
I replaced the rear main seal a few weeks ago, and here is shown the pilot bearing (OD: 0.813") sitting within the pilot bearing carrier which was originally too small. we bored it, pulled the old...
hmmm... I sold my transmission and engine together - I'm not sure if the crossmember when with them. I'll see if I can find it...

Lots of time spent, and a little work accomplished; but it was necessary and difficult work. Pressure fit in the end of the crank sits a doughnut-shaped piece, that needs to hold the pilot bearing...
Not too much progress today; just a long battle with sealing up the oil pan. Here's a tip: if you want a clean and liquid-tight weld, clean both surfaces well, and don't use a 120V MIG. Flipping...
